NOROO Seoul Design Studio (NSDS), a specialized color design research institute under NOROO Paint, has announced the publication of the latest global color trend book, COVER ALL Vol. 08.

Since its inaugural release in 2016 under the theme of "Humanities," the COVER ALL series has provided a comprehensive analysis of evolving global design trends and societal phenomena. It has served as a practical resource for professionals in planning, design, marketing, and other fields, offering the latest insights into color trends and their applications.

These achievements were further validated when COVER ALL Vol. 07 ("Flexibility") received a prestigious iF Design Award in the Communication category, one of the three major global design competitions in 2024. Additionally, at the 2024 Milan Design Week (MDW), the series inspired the creation of Hongcheol Wonderland, an exhibit co-produced with TV personality Noh Hong-chul. The exhibit was selected as one of the "Top 10 Must-See Exhibitions" by local media, showcasing NOROO’s extensive expertise in color to a global audience.

The latest edition of COVER ALL delves deeper into the essence of creativity with the theme of "Understanding." The premise is that the foundation of innovation and creative technology lies in comprehension, building on the collective experiences and knowledge of humanity. Inspired by insights from renowned engineer Jim Keller, CEO of Tenstorrent (an AI company), the book emphasizes the importance of profound understanding in the creative process, beyond mere feasibility.

Reflecting global design trends, the series is segmented into three volumes focusing on: Mobility Object

Space, Each volume introduces 48 key trend colors and offers actionable insights, including design direction, effective strategies for utilizing colors and materials, and combination mood boards. These resources are designed to provide practical inspiration for professionals across industries.

An NSDS representative expressed gratitude, saying, “We sincerely thank our customers for supporting us through the journey from the first COVER ALL in 2016 to the eighth series today. We hope that COVER ALL allows our audience to engage with NOROO’s 79 years of accumulated data and expertise, gaining profound insights and inspiration in the world of color.”

COVER ALL Vol. 08 is now available for purchase in major global design hubs, including Milan and Tokyo. In Korea, it can be found at 10 Corso Como, Kyobo Bookstore, Youngpoong Bookstore, YES24, Aladin, and other outlets
